Going into last night's match between the D Division Monarch and Falcons, the Falcons had gone winless in their first 15 games. They had lost 11 games and that first victory had eluded them 4 times resulting in tie games. Then last night, their hard work and skilled play all gelled, as they came from a 2-1 deficit in the 3rd period.

Starting with a pass from Dan Kelmenson to Nick Fabbricino with 10:45  to go in the period, Fabbricino knocked in the puck and the Falcons had tied the game. Unlike the 4 other times when they could not get that key goal, this time, victory was to be theirs as with 3:14 left in the game, Dan Kelmenson knocked the puck past Monarch goaltender Chris Pruett for the 3-2 lead. They then held on until the final horn sounded. the roar from the ice and bench said it all, the Falcons had finally won and now that they had tasted victory, they want more. Congratulations.
