71 Year Old PHA Player Scores Goal

For those of you having trouble putting the puck in the net, take heart in knowing that veteran Warrior's forward Phil Yurtis scored his first goal in a long while this past Sunday night in Vallco. The 71 year old Yurtis has been playing for the Warriors since their formatiion in the National Novice Hockey League in 1983. Yurtis had a chance to score a second goal a few minutes later, but the puck was knocked away by a Phoenix defenseman at the last second. Congratulations Phil !!!!! It is estimated that over his 30 year career he has played in over 1000 league games.
