The Knights won their first D Division and PHA Championship this past Sunday, March 20th by tying the game with a late goal and then winning the sudden death shootout over the Dragons. 

The Dragons had advanced to the title game winning a shootout over the Piranhas a week earlier. The Dragons and Knights both failed to score until the Mike Sexton of the Dragons scored with 9:36 to go in the final period. However, Sam Lepler from the Knights tied the game at 2:26 to go on a power play goal.

The two teams went to the 8th player in the shootout before Allan Scott from the Knights scored the winning goal, breaking the title drought for the Knights.
